Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Bronx is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Bronx peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Horrible experience , my mom just finished getting a procedure done , she was craving breakfast food. We thought we would give them another chance after a horrific experience previously…. Big mistake. I ordered a simple egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant.. my mom ordered an omelette with bacon I believe.. her food comes out before mine, they give her 2 skimpy strips of bacon, meanwhile my food comes out with cold eggs , they don’t put enough cheese and the cheese they used is craft singles!!!! The waitress was very rude.. ignored us and mind you this is a small coffee shop.. it was not busy at all. Save yourself the money and time go to ihop on allerton. If I could give half stars I would. It made me miss rainbow diner on Pelham parkway…

I want the world to understand that it’s ok to evolve. To put in work. A new friend I met yesterday was kind enough to treat me to lunch but I almost wish he hadn’t. For 27 dollars they gave us food that might as well have been served by the New York public school system. I mean what kind of world are we living in. That even so much as a burger can be messed up. The bun was stale and old appearing. The meat looked off. And they didn’t include ketchup for his burger. My meal had my stomach hurting within seconds of biting into it. It was too oily even though half of it was basically a salad. And it was just not done well. They put the dressing on the side where it should have been included in the meal because that’s how it comes. But either way, the food was sub par. The quality of the food was even worse. The Bronx is suffering. Poverty is killing the nation and more importantly the city. People keep taking short cuts thinking it’s leading somewhere but it’s not. At the end of the day it’s your job to not cheat your customers. As far as customer service, again lacking in warmth. So on top of the food not being good, the restaurant itself lacks the overall heart charm and soul that

My server didn't check on me to see if everything was ok. But the food was delicious and hot and freshly served. Very clean and cozy. Definitely will return soon.

Welcoming staff! Since we were seated, the services was very attentive. Loved the variety of American and Mexican options on the menu. Had the huevos rancheros with steak, portion was more than fair, natural orange juice. Definitely recommend!

I had a great experience at this diner. The food was fast, fresh, and absolutely delicious — exactly what you’d hope for in a classic spot. What really stood out was the amazing service; the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the atmosphere feel welcoming and relaxed. Everything from the speed of service to the quality of the meal was spot-on. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience.
